13 years ago I left Asia, where I had spent 24 years, mostly in Japan, running Reuters Plc., to move to Umbria to retire. It changed my life completely. I fell in love with the countryside, the people and their buildings. The really old buildings, those that were crumbling and silent, those with their own unique history to tell.
Whilst living in Japan, I bought a property dating back to the 17th century and decided to restore it, retaining in the process, many of the old and original features. It was a fascinating and rewarding journey but knowing what I know now it could have been infinitely easier especially had I been here to manage the project.
In order to more simply engage with clients, I introduced our website onestone.it in 2016, which is a destination for our existing and future clients to view the activities in which we are currently engaged, and to give access to the full range of services that our group of companies offer.
If you are looking to share in the wonder of la Dolce Vita in Umbria, Tuscany or Marche, full or part time, or if you want to own and be immersed in a part of a rich history or alternatively wanting to leave a legacy for your family, then we should speak.
